JA-PARS Modifications Enable Reporting of Activities for Dentists

Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education (08/19/20)

Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education will issue changes to its Joint Accreditation Program and Activity Reporting System on Sept. 10 in association with its collaboration with the American Dental Association. The modifications will enable jointly accredited providers to indicate activities targeted to dentists or allied dental staff; specify credits/contact hours offered to these professions; disclose participation numbers for dentists and allied dental staff; and download updated reports that include the new fields. At the initial launch, all 2020 activities marked closed as of Sept. 9 will indicate "0" participants in both dentists and allied dental staff fields. All 2020 activities marked open as of Sept. 9 will display the new fields. Participants must complete these fields to close activity before the annual reporting deadline.
